Packaging Design

Chilli Bomba is a Los Angeles based confectionery company. They make unique chamoy based candies that blend sweet, salty, and spicy chilli flavours.

Live project

Completed at New Genre

Challenge

As Chilli Bomba grew, the packaging started to lack the clarity needed to stand out on retail shelves. Important product details were easy to miss, and the brand’s tagline “Candy Rebels” needed to be a larger feature of the packaging.

The back-of-pack lacked hierarchy and a clear way for new customers to understand what made the chamoy candy fiery.

Solution

The refresh brought structure and clarity back to the brands packaging. The product details were reorganised into a clear hierarchy for easy reading. The messaging was highlighted to bring out the playful personality of the Candy Rebels.

Refining the layout allowed the packaging to focus on Chilli Bomba’s unique blend of candy and helped customers identify and connect with the inner Candy Rebel.
